Maj's treadle Singer sewing machine
Worked well her whole life and was her only sewing machine - and I learned to sew on it too.

The machine was made at the Clydebank factory in Kilbowie, Scotland in 1915*

* Dating from Treadles.com on Aug. 4; 2003  but the site was closed as of Sept. 12, 2003 with the note that "Most of the essential material from Treadles.com will eventually be updated and posted on The NeedleBar site" The latter site is comprehensive about Singer sewing machines.
